Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 salary

Impact Statement: The Female Program Director will partner with God’s people in Virginia Beach to see young women (and men) become more of who God made them to be.
Responsibilities: The Female Program Director will be responsible for leading and developing all aspects of the women’s ministry of VB Fellows. This will include recruiting and on-boarding female fellows, overseeing female job placements, planning women’s retreats and special events, leading women’s small groups, securing and supervising mentors, managing the women’s program budget, and supporting each female fellows’ spiritual development. The FPD will also work with the program staff (President/Male Program Director and Teaching Director) to plan and execute fellows’ program events, including Friday trainings, roundtable dinners, quarterly retreats, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations, as well as community events, such as prayer nights, welcome parties, year-end celebrations and fundraisers. The FPD will work with the VB Fellows communications and administration staff to further the mission of VB Fellows as needed and agreed upon with the program staff. Finally, the FPD will work under the direction of the President and the Board of Directors, and will abide by organizational policies.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
❏ Commitment to the authority of Scripture as God’s inspired Word
❏ Commitment to the historic Christian faith as written in the Apostles’ Creed
❏ Commitment to the importance of membership in a local church
❏ 5 years of teaching, spiritual direction or discipleship experience with young adults ❏ Biblical, theological and pastoral/counseling training (Masters degree preferred) ❏ Ability to recruit, develop and direct volunteers
❏ Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
❏ Ability to plan, organize and lead prayer and worship gatherings
❏ Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet programmatic needs
❏ Passion for the vision and mission of VB Fellows
